McKinney, TX is located 32 miles north of the city of Dallas. It has a population of 168,358 and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. McKinney has one college campus that offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The Central Park campus of Collin College, which opened in 1985, is located near the center of the city.
